We purchase the jeans from the residents.
Every pair of jeans is carefully cleaned.
After cleaning, they are carefully ironed.
Next, the jeans are cut.
The women then turn the jeans into bags.
Embellishments and shoulder straps are added.
Every bag goes through a final quality control.
The finished bags are shipped to Germany.
By purchasing a yesBAG you support single mothers from the favela. These talented seamstresses often cannot find work outside the favela because they have to care for their children.
